Dr. Thomas Vazzana, Class of 1980

Dr. Vazzana is a graduate of New York University and Saint George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Seton Hall University (Saint Joseph’s Hospital) in Patterson, New Jersey and his Fellowship in Cardiology at Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center on Staten Island.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention, and a member of the American College of Physicians, American Heart Association, American Medical Association, Medical Society of the State of New York and is a past president of the Richmond County Medical Society.

Dr. Vazzana is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology and has hospital privileges with Richmond University Medical Center, Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center of Manhattan and Staten Island University Hospital.

He is a partner in Vazzana-Bogin Cardiology Associates on Staten Island, and is the father of Thomas, Farrell Class of ‘2013.  He is also a former member of the school’s Board of Directors.
