Brian Hall, a football standout and former coach at Monsignor Farrell, is a longtime patron of Farrell whose generosity over the years has done much to improve the appearance and quality of life at the school.
The owner of Joseph G. Hall & Sons, Monuments and Granite Stone Countertops in Pleasant Plains, Brian attended the University of South Carolina where he studied business. After college, he began work in his family’s monument business, which he eventually took over.
It is difficult to find a more dedicated alumnus than Brian. He has donated his time and talent to the school for a number of years, creating and donating the school’s entrance signs, the September 11th memorial wall, the ranite Donor Wall and Wall of Fame, and the lion statue overlooking Alumni Stadium. Brian also served on the Alumni Stadium committee and is an organizer of the Alumni Bowl football game.
He is also active in other charities throughout Staten Island and New Jersey.
Brian and his wife, Melissa, a teacher with the Fair Haven Board of Education, reside in Fair Haven, NJ. The couple has a daughter, Courtney, and a son, Brendan.
